Hull Animal Welfare Trust voted Charity of the Month for June
Hull Animal Welfare Trust has been voted Beverley Building Society’s charity of the month for June by its members. The charity will receive £250 donation on behalf of the Society.
Hull Animal Welfare Trust provide state of the art facilities for fifty dogs and forty cats which are always full and an average of one thousand animals per year are rescued and re-homed. The charity’s mission is to ensure the greatest of care is taken to match the right animal with the right home, and that no animal in distress is ever turned away or any call unanswered.
Charity representative Amy Bryan: “From all of the staff, volunteers and rescued animals at Hull Animal Welfare Trust, we would like to say thank you to the members of Beverley Building Society who have voted us as charity of the month. As a charity that operates within East Yorkshire, we aim to deliver nurturing programmes to ensure that the animals taken into our care receive the best possible care for their needs as well as look to find their forever homes.”
Marketing Manager Ed Davies said “Our loyal members have shown great support for June’s charity of the month nominations. It’s fantastic to see that members have chosen a charity which take in rescued animals and aim to rehome them so that the animals are able to live a full and joyful life.”
