Beverley Building Society Supports Driffield Show 2016
On July 20th the Beverley Building Society continued their 150th Anniversary celebrations by showing committed support for this year’s Driffield Show. Thousands of attendees turned out for the show, where they got the opportunity to meet team members from the Society as well as experience a numerous agricultural displays and exhibitions.
The Society sponsored the very popular Activity Arena, which hosted a variety of exciting demonstrations. This year in celebration of the Society’s 150th Anniversary, showground guests received our special edition Anniversary Money Boxes, with the team handing out around 2000 Money Boxes to young children and their families - an initiative we’re committed to continue as part of our efforts to encourage young people to save, and highlight the rewards that can come with saving.
Peter Myers the Society’s Chief Executive, said: “The Driffield Show is always a special day in the Society’s calendar. This year we wanted to use the day celebrate our anniversary with the local community and as one of our yearly anchor events we support, the show is an opportunity for us to engage with our members thanking them for their loyalty.”
